Dr Pooja Rai has been providing gentle, compassionate dental care since graduating in 2003. As part of a Defence family, she has practised across Australia, including Perth, Canberra, Brisbane, and regional communities, caring for patients from diverse backgrounds.
Dr Rai believes great dentistry begins with empathy and listening. She takes the time to understand each patient’s needs, ensuring they feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their care. Her calm, caring approach has helped many anxious patients overcome their fear of the dentist.
She provides comprehensive dental care with special interests in oral surgery, implant dentistry, and smile design. Committed to lifelong learning, Dr Rai holds a Fellowship in General Dental Practice (FRACDS GDP) and a Master of Public Health, and regularly attends national and international courses and conferences to provide the highest standard of evidence-based care.
Pooja and her family have chosen to make this wonderful regional community their home, embracing its welcoming lifestyle while raising their two young children. Outside dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the outdoors.
